My first private bottle release is An Fear Grinn, a fabulous 16 year old single cask yielding just 222 bottles, in this hand numbered and labeled strictly limited edition bottling. A Single Malt at CASK STRENGTH of 57%
This sought after private release is a perfect addition to your collection, a seasonal gift for a loved one, or to be slowly sipped and enjoyed – and going by the secondary market, proving to be a good investment too! Get it at good retailers or direct from me. Check out independent review here. And delighted to be featured on Twitter at SaturdayNightSip
“..wanted to commend you on the packaging and branding from the lucky cent to the song lyrics and personal signature it really created an experience and a level of theatre Ive never seen before with a whiskey… And I’ve collected a fair few. When Bean Grinn comes out I’d love if I could buy bottle 160 off you to make the pair”
“It’s only on the finish the cask strength of this bottling makes itself known. An explosion of alcohol mixed in with fabulous flavours dances around in a prickly heat before slowly subduing into an oaky spiciness & fruit finale. Fabulous stuff!”
“The quality of the cask and spirit rings out on the palate.”
Housed in spectacular hand-made presentation box. Individually hand filled, hand labelled, signed and numbered. Each bottle with its own custom swing-tag (lyric on each), hand-signed side label and luck coin (don’t lose it!)
Since they are all numbered, you should choose your favourite number and get in touch.
“Colour: Pale golden.
Nose: Fruity, apple, pear, citrus, some doughy woody notes. Easy on the nose despite the high abv.
Texture: Oily with a mild prickly burn. Probably down to the high abv.
Palate: Bitter lemon, green apple, caramel and honey, mild spice.
A drop or two opens it up to more spice and dried fruits. Makes it a much more enjoyable experience.
Finish: Medium finish. Dried fruits and spice fade to bitter notes and mild licorice with a slight warming burn in the chest.“
